Hello Everyone~I just want to let you know that I am great. I am sleeping a few hours at a time, I love to eat, and my plumbing works great. :) I guess I already filled my diaper genie! I have a rock and play I like to sleep in, but most of all prefer to be held or rocked by mom or dad. I also like it when my mom sings to me, but she needs to learn some new songs, she only knows 2 or 3 songs and pretty sure she makes up the words. I also really like to be swaddled.
I went to the doctor yesterday, my skin was looking a little yellow. The doctor said I was a little bit jaundice, but they aren't concerned. They said that was pretty normal because of the bruising I had on my face. It should clear up in the next few days, but I am going back tomorrow morning to get another test done just to make sure. Mom thinks I look better already.
Things I don't like--the sun or bright lights and having my diaper changed.
That's all for now, I have quite a busy schedule!
I nearly cried when I saw what you named your blog. You probably have no idea how many people really do love Lily Grace--hundreds just on Doug's side of the family! Thank you for this fantastic opportunity to see her grow up. Great Grandma Charlotte is anxious to visit the blog, too.

ReplyDeleteI did cry when I saw Josh holding Lily Grace and her all wrapped up in a blanket with her eyes shut. She looks kind of like Tony did when he was born. I was soooo happy to see her!
Aunt Charlene wants to make Lily a quilt with her name on it. Is there a chance that she will have a different name when she is adopted?
I love you, Josh and Amy, for adopting her!

Hi! Thanks for the note. We are keeping the name Lily Grace. It wasn't part of our original plan, but when we heard the name it just felt so right. :)
