Tis the Season

I thought it would be fun to give you a quick snip-it of the holidays in our house. :)

Lily has her own elf on the shelf, which she chose to name "Elf." Lily doesn't understand the concept, but does like to look and point at Elf.   She received her letter from Santa yesterday, and we were all happy to find out she was on the nice list.  :)   Santa pointed out what a nice job Lily has done taking care of her babies, helping with dishes, and being nice to the kitty.

Miss Lily did have an opportunity to meet Santa a couple of weeks ago unexpectedly in a store, we will just say she isn't a fan, we weren't able to capture any photos because mama couldn't handle the apparent trauma this bearded man was causing Lily.  We couldn't be in his view - she freaked.   We might try again….not sure yet.

We made a trip to Duluth to celebrate Christmas with Josh's family and took in Bentleyville….she thought that was pretty cool!  It turned out to be quite a long day and she was a complete trooper.
We are very much looking forward to celebrating the rest of the holidays with our family and friends and an almost 2 week Christmas break for Daddy and Lily.   We did have the infamous flu roll through our house…not that we were keeping score, but we lost 0-3.

Bentleyville

Wishing she could reach some of those pretty ornaments on the top….our tree is very top heavy this year. Anything that could be breakable is safely out of Lily's reach.  She was very helpful in decorating the tree and loves to help flip the switch to turn the lights off and on.

Aquarium with Daddy.  Such a big girl with a smile that lights up the room.
